Oh my god! Justin Bieber shocked everyone when he cancelled all of his future meet and greets on Mar. 22, but now a source is saying that it was the result of several scary run-ins. We have all the crazy details, right here.
Fans may be heartbroken that Justin
Bieber, 22, cancelled or changed every last meet and greet for the
rest of his tour, but his reason why is totally shocking and scary. A source
explains that fans were getting out of hand and on multiple occasions, Justin
got hurt. Here’s what went down that was the final straw.
On Mar. 21 in Los
Angeles, a fan that was on Justin’s security team’s “watch list” got way to
close for comfort, a source told TMZ. The fan, who is totally obsessed
and potentially dangerous, got within ten feet of Justin without him knowing,
and it sent his security team into a frenzy. While no harm was done, this was
the straw that broke the camel’s back for Justin, leading him to say “no more”
to fan meet and greets.
An overwhelming and still growing amount of fans
were paying big bucks to get close to Justin before and after his concerts,
with around 20 purchasing one-on-one experiences and nearly 200 more visiting
in groups. With such a large amount of fans around, there have been some tense
moments.
In cases, TMZ reports that Justin got
his hair pulled, his clothing torn off, and even got the flu once from a fan.
They report that Justin never complained, but security insists that he change
things. So from now on, Justin will only greet groups on a stage with no
touching or one-on-one interaction. Bummer!
Justin’s fans have already begun getting emails
offering them refunds for the $900-$1200 experiences they will no longer
receive. Justin definitely feels bad, but can’t risk his health to please his
fans, saying “I want to make people smile, but not at my expense, and I always
leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression.”
