With $280 million to her name, Taylor Swift is one of
the richest people in the biz, but would she risk it all for true love? The
singer and boyfriend Calvin Harris reportedly refuse to sign a prenup before
their alleged wedding, which could be bad business for the wealthy celebs!
Taylor Swift, 26, is reportedly set to marry Calvin
Harris, 32, and there’s one important detail they’ve allegedly negotiated
before they’ll tie the knot — the prenup. But, shockingly, neither star is
into singing a prenuptial agreement, according to a friend of Taylor’s who
spoke to OK! Magazine. But with $280 million in Taylor’s bank
account, is this really the smartest move?
“They’re
madly in love, and they’ve both accumulated so much wealth that they’d have no
need to go after each other’s as in a split,” Taylor’s friend told OK!
magazine. “But most importantly, they’re confident a split won’t happen.”
Okay, that
is pretty romantic! It’s a great point that the lovebirds are swimming in
cash. It’s not like Calvin’s struggling to make ends meet here. Regarded as “the
world’s highest-paid DJ,” Calvin rakes in a whopping $400,000 per gig. That
adds up to a $66 million yearly income. Whoa! Though that’s an unfathomable
amount of money that most of us won’t see in a lifetime, it’s actually just
pennies compared to Taylor. She makes an estimated $1 million per day,
and $280 million a year! Can you even imagine?
Money’s not on their
mind while they’re allegedly planning their dream wedding! The couple are
apparently looking to get hitched in Hawaii, and Taylor’s allegedly been
in wedding planning mode since the 1989 tour ended in December 2015! Though the
wedding’s reportedly going to cost $2 million (chump change for them!), it’s
going to be a small, private affair to keep out the paps. Selena Gomez,
23, is reportedly going to be her maid of honor! How cool is that?
“Their lives
are so chaotic, they don’t want to have some elaborate ceremony with hundreds
of people they barely know,” the source told the magazine. One person who’s
apparently not invited? Kendall Jenner, 20, who appears to
reportedly be out of the squad after hooking up with Harry Styles —
damn!
