Zayn Malik just underwent a massive makeover! The former One Direction singer not only shaved his head, but debuted three new tattoos on March 11 — one on his FACE and two on his neck.
In celebration of the upcoming release of his first solo album, Mind of Mine, Zayn Malik got some fresh ink and a new haircut! The 23-year-old took to Instagram on March 11 to debut his new tattoos — one on his face and two on his neck — and freshly shaven head. Plus, there’s a One Direction reference you have to see to believe.
At first glance, it looks like Zayn got a tattoo
dedicated to his mom, but the new ink on the side of his face, which has the
letters “M.O.M,” is actually a reference to his new album being released
on March 25 — Mind Of Mine. And if you look in the background of the
photo, you’ll see a surfboard with his former band’s name printed on it.

Furthermore, Zayn also got two tattoos on his neck —
one on each side. He now has a bird on the left side of his neck, and something
we can’t quite see on the right. It may be a rose, but it’s not clear
enough to make out.
This is one of Zayn’s many makeovers in the past few
weeks. Just before Valentine’s Day, he dyed the tips of his hair pink, and his
hair was bleach blond in his music video for “Pillowtalk.” Who knows what Zayn
will come up with next, but either way, we’re excited to find out!
