We’re getting closer and closer to the release of Zayn
Malik’s new album…and as the anticipation grows, he’s gifted us with another
song! This one is called ‘Like I Would,’ and we can’t help but speculate if
it’s about his ex-fiancee, Perrie Edwards.
Zayn Malik, 23, has done it again! The singer dropped
a third song, “Like I Would,” from his upcoming album Mind of Mine, and we’re
totally obsessing over it already. With just two weeks to go until the record
comes out, this new track has gotten us even more pumped than ever. You HAVE to
take a listen!
Whoa. Zayn’s
song is super sexy. Could this be about Perrie? Is he sending
her a message? Just check out some of these lyrics: “If we could never go back
/ Thought you’d like to know that / He won’t touch you like I do /He won’t love
you like I would / He don’t know your body / He don’t do you right / He won’t
love you like I would, love you like I would.”
Mind Of Mine is dropping on March 25, which also
happens to be the one year anniversary of when Zayn officially left One
Direction. So far, we’ve heard the songs “Pillowtalk” and “It’s You,” both
of which have been inspired by the singer’s ex-love. “I just felt
like I needed to put myself out there on that,” Zayn explained of his emotional
song “It’s You.” “Just because it was a form of therapy for me and it did help
me get through some s***. So if it can help somebody else at that time, then
that’s cool.”
Zayn hasn’t done much promotion for his upcoming album, but he’s definitely
been getting fans excited by releasing new songs and info little by little. After
dropping the first two singles, the 23-year-old revealed the Mind of
Mine track list, featuring a whopping 18 songs, and beyond adorable
album cover. We can’t WAIT to hear the whole thing!
